Hypogonadism is a condition in which a man fails to produce a sufficient amount of testosterone. It results in a range of symptoms, including reduced sex drive and energy, breast growth, small testicles and a lack of body hair. Hypogonadism can arise from failure of the testicles (known as primary hypogonadism) or failure of the pituitary gland (known as secondary or hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism).
