QT Interval

 

The QT interval is a measure of the time between different types of heart waves (Q waves and T waves). It changes in response to an individual's heart rate.

Quetiapine

  Quetiapine is an antipsychotic drug (medicine) which works by causing a balance of chemicals in the brain improving symptoms of certain mental conditions affecting thinking, feelings and behaviour.

 

Quinolones

  These antibiotics block DNA synthesis in bacteria by interfering with the action of the bacterial enzyme - DNA gyrase. They include: Ciprofloxacin, Moxifloxacin, Ofloxacin (eye drops only) and norfloxacin. They have a broad spectrum of activity against Gram negative bacteria.
