Action of Sudafed Sinus Pain Relief:

Sudafed Sinus Pain Relief contains two active ingredients, Paracetamol and Pseudoephedrine.
Paracetamol is a well known analgesic agent. It acts on the chemicals that regulate body temperature and nerve sensitivity to pain, thereby reducing pain and fever.
Pseudoephedrine stimulates certain receptors in blood vessels to cause them to constrict. This reduces blood flow to the nose and sinuses, decreasing swelling and nasal discharge. This is known as a decongestant action.
