Indication of Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray:
Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray is indicated for:Action of Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray:
Mometasone in Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray:- Produces local anti-inflammatory effects
- Decreases capillary permeability and mucous productions
- And produces vasoconstriction in the nasal mucosa.
Dose Advice of Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray:
Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray is available as metered dose of 50 mcg per spray.Allergic rhinitis
- Adult, children 12 years and older: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily. Dose may be reduced to 1 spray once daily when symptoms are controlled.
- Children between 3-12 years: 1 spray into each nostril once daily.
Nasal polyps
- Adults, 12 years and older: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily. The dose may be increased to 2 sprays into each nostril twice daily if necessary.
Instructions for use of Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray
- Shake container well before each use.
- The Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray pump should be primed before use. Usually six or seven actuations are required until a uniform spray is observed. Each actuation delivers approximately 50 microgram mometasone furaote monohydrate.
- If the spray pump has not been used for 14 days or longer, it should be reprimed before the next use.
